The Enterprise Connect program starts with a diagnostic service (costs are covered by the Federal Government) via a trained Business Advisor. Following completion, companies have access to a $20,000 grant on a dollar for dollar basis to assist in remedying business operational issues, which may be either identified by the company prior to or found during the diagnostic. Inventure can provide services that are typically supported under the program.

Enterprise Connect provides support to Australian SMEs to help businesses become more innovative, effecient and competitive. Enterprise Connect comprises of two divisional centres:

Innovation & Manufacturing 

The Government established Enterprise Connect to assist SMEs acquire the knowledge, tools and expertise to improve productivity, increase competitiveness and fully capitalise on their growth potential in the global business environment.  

Primarily, Enterprise Connect provides a diagnostic service (costs involved will be covered by the Government) to innovative companies in the manufacturing industry to allow these companies to apply for a $20,000 grant on a dollar for dollar basis to assist in remedying business operational issues, which may be either identified by the company prior to or found during the diagnostic.

To be eligible for Enterprise Connect's support and assistance, companies must:

  • Be solvent and have turned over more than $2 million and under $100 million in the previous financial year
  • Be involved in manufacturing or part of a manufacturing supply chain
  • Have traded for the last three consecutive years
  • Not have received similar assistance from other Federal or State Government programs within the last three years
