Screencheck Australia's business is the provision of printed identification cards for major clients in the Government, Corporate and Private sectors. With increasing competition margin was being eroded and the company sought to expand infrastructure to enable it to obtain a 'secure' rating for its premises and operate to world class standards enabling it to enter higher value market segments. Inventure Partners saw the opportunity for funding through the Structural Adjustment Fund for South Australia (SAFSA) and developed a comprehensive application showcasing the state and national benefits of the proposed infrastructure project resulting in $0.5 million funding.
"Inventure provided an independent view of various elements and strategies, provided ideas and opinions and very quickly grasped what is a very difficult technical area, such that my time was contained to only those things which required in-depth knowledge of our company, system, processes or technology."
"This was an important project for Maxamine and we see great value in the work that Inventure did and the cost structure that we negotiated. Working in this manner reaffirms that technology can be utilised in many ways and that your advisers do not have to be in the same city, state or country to be effective." Dr Stephen Kirkby, CEO Maxamine International Pty Ltd - Now a part of the American company Accenture.
"Working with Inventure was very rewarding. They quickly understood our business, they were very knowledgeable about the SAFSA (and other grant) programs and provided significant strategic input into our business – not only in preparing a faultless business case for the grant but in other dealings since then, which have included tendering, strategic alliance discussions and more recently a project with CSIRO to develop a world leading magnesium casting capability."
"Inventure is fully committed to the client and demonstrated an absolute commitment to meeting the stated objectives of the engagement and worked closely with us to ensure our complete control over the application. The transfer of knowledge of application development methods from Inventure to Alloy was a significant value added element, and we meet regularly with them on a whole range of strategic issues related to our ongoing business." Steve Groat, Managing Director Alloy Technologies International Pty Ltd
