Enterprise Connect will provide a $20,000 grant, on a dollar for dollar basis, to support to Australian SMEs to help businesses become more innovative, effecient and competitive. Enterprise Connect will assist SMEs acquire the knowledge, tools and expertise to improve productivity, increase competitiveness and fully capitalise on their growth potential.
Enterprise Connect comprises of two divisions: Manufacturing Centres and Innovation Centres.
To be eligible for Enterprise Connect's support and assistance, applicant enterprises must:
- Be a solvent company that has turned over more than $2 million and under $100 million in the previous financial year
- Be involved in manufacturing or part of a manufacturing supply chain
- Have traded for the last three consecutive years
- Not have received similar assistance from other Federal or State Government programs in the last three years
Enterprise Connect will conduct a diagnostic service (costs involved covered by the Government) on the company to determine whether or not they are suitable to apply for funding. If successful, these funds can be applied to activities identified in the review.
