Mike Burfield

Mike is a director of Inventure Partners who was previously a Senior Manager in the Management Consulting and Corporate Finance sections of a “Big 4” accounting firm who possesses a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and Associate Diploma and Business (Management) from the University of South Australia.

Michael has, for the past 18 years, been a specialist adviser in the areas of corporate and marketing strategy development and implementation, R&D Start Grant and Commercialisation Loan development, project implementation, technology commercialisation, contract negotiation and business development.

Michael has substantial innovation fund raising experience and has been involved in the development of over 100 successful innovation grant project

Michael was a founding director of Southern Pooled Developments Ltd and its manager, Corporate Resource Pty Ltd. He has been a founder and director of several successful business start-ups in the IT & Biotechnology sectors.
